What I Wore: Eid Al Adha 2017

Hi lovelies x

Eid is now over and let me tell you, it was amazing.  You guys don’t understand how excited I get over Eid, it’s the best thing. Especially when you’re spending quality time with the family, because what’s better than that right? Here is an outfit post showing my outfits for the first two days only as I didn’t take any pictures on day three.

Day 1

On day one I wore the best abaya type thingy to the mosque for Eid prayer but I have no good picture of it. This picture is what I had on afterward when our whole family came together at our grandparents’ place. I was reaaaally feelin’ Dina Tokio kinda vibes in this picture.

Day 2

On the second day, I made sure to take my camera with me when I went out and it was the best decision ever, because I ended up getting a bunch of amazing photographs out of it.

Day 3

On day three, I couldn’t care less about what I wore or how I looked. I didn’t take any pictures on this day because we were having too much fun and I didn’t really feel like being on my phone. We had gone over to my grandparents’ and all we did was watch movies all day and tell ghost stories and basically just spend time together as a family.

So there you have it, that sums up what I wore on Eid. New posts coming soon, including three award tags which I’m so excited for. Stay on the look out guys.

Different.

Writing for a purpose can sometimes be the hardest thing; if I’m forced to write, the result would be a fully blank sheet of paper. But if I write just for the sake of holding a pen, I could get like ten billion words out. Is it just me or do other people feel that way?

Also, I feel like my previous blog posts have been the most random things ever and they’re mostly about writing, but eh. That’s what my blog is about after all – it’s what I think and how I feel. It’s a part of me. It even says right there on the top that this blog is a teeny tiny glance into my mind. A mind that never stops learning and exploring, a very very curious mind at that.

Just paper?

Reading is the best thing ever. Well, one of the best things at least. Once you pick up a book and start reading, you enter this whole new realm; you forget where you are or who you’re with, and all you can focus on are the words on the pages in front of you. Continue reading

Hey peeps! 🐥 Soooo.. it’s 2016.. It doesn’t feel like it though, does it? It’s like you just blink and then boom! It’s a new yeaaar. 🎉 I wonder how many times I’ll accidentally write 2015 instead of 2016 in my notebooks..

How was last year for you guys? I know for a fact that it was a bit tough for us directioners, but we made it through and I couldn’t be prouder of us as a family ❤️ Keep smilinggg (like the smileys on my leggings 😂). Shout out to all of you directioners out there, love you guys.

Apart from that, I think 2015 was a pretty decent year for me compared to the previous ones and I know I’m going to make 2016 even better. This year is going to be amazing for all of us.

This year is a fresh start for everything, make it good. Start over. Create a new beginning.  Smile so much more than you did last year, I know you can. This is your story to be written. ❤️

Here are some of my new year’s resolutions:

  • Stress less
  • Treasure my treasures
  • Love more
  • Organize myself
  • Study harder
  • Eat cleaner
  • Spend more time with friends and family
  • Grow my blog
  • Live the life I want
  • Overcome a fear
  • Learn another language
  • Continue being Queen 👸🏼

Those are just a few, I’ve got moreee. So yeah, have a great year ahead!
